From: bcs@PRC.Unisys.COM (Barry Silk) Newsgroups: rec.games.trivia Subject: RESULTS: Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #7 Message-ID: <17299@burdvax.PRC.Unisys.COM> Date: 23 Apr 91 14:08:41 GMT RESULTS & ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #7 Joe Haertell (a non-netter friend who submitted his entry via USMail) came in first with an almost perfect score of 480 getting 24 of 25. This might seem impressive, but he's pretty much an authority on oldies, and is a part-time oldies DJ on WOL(1450AM) radio in Washington DC, so I pretty much expected this from him :-) So, aside from Joe, my congratulations goes to Laura Eppright, who once again demonstrated her superior knowledge of oldies music by correctly identifying 22 of 25 lyrics as she did last quiz! Bob Dorin, Dan Murphy, and several others also had excellent scores. And of course, thanks to everyone for their participation!
