RESULTS & ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #212 (GOLQ212)

Thanks to all for playing GOLQ 212, and CONGRATULATIONS to the Village
Idiots, Randy and Peter, and Across the Boarder, who finished in a three-
way tie for the top spot. All three teams earned perfect scores and
identified both tie breakers. Genateam missed a perfect score by a scant
two points and a tie breaker.

We hope everyone enjoyed the quiz. Bob Bluestein has already posted GOLQ213.

    Note: One point deduction for omitting "(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me).

-------------
Tie-breakers:
-------------

I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!
#T1) Beatles: Helter Skelter (1968) [-] {-}

    Note: Ringo screams this at the end of this song from the White
    Album, but it is only present on the stereo version of the album.
    "The Falk" told me this tie-breaker would be a give-away, but I
    didn't believe him . . . you all proved him correct. Almost every
    entry correctly identified the Beatles as the artist, and only one
    entry had the title incorrect.

You can crystalize through my mind's weary wanderings
I may see your shadowed image on my wall
#T2) Blues Project: Steve's Song (1966) [-] {-}

    Note: From the album, "Projections." Blues Project an NYC-based
    group, the members of which hung around with the Lovin' Spoonful
    and the Greenwich Village crowd . . . was made up of Al Kooper and
    Steve Katz, both of whom went on to form Blood, Sweat & Tears.
