RESULTS & ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #230 (GOLQ230)

Congratulations to the team of Randy Price & Peter Morley, who edged out
Really Rockin' In Boston for first place on a tiebreaker. Both teams had
perfect 500 scores. The Village Idiots missed only one song. The Coasters
only missed two.

Tom Pillion and Rick Falkenstein will be posting GOLQ231 later this week.

Thanks to everyone who entered!

     Van Brunt in 1916.

#T1) The Crickets: I'm Lookin' For Someone To Love (1957) [-] {F}

     I was curious to see how a relatively well known non-charting song would
     do compared with a traditional quiz. On GOLQ89 it scored 4.0, while the
     instrumental clip this time scored 11.7.

Our daily deeds, and the things we do and say
By what we keep, oh yeah, and what we cast away
#T2) Wilson Pickett: People Make The World (What It Is) (1968) [-] {F}

     Flip side of "A Man And A Half". Nine entrants recognized Pickett's voice.
     EMC and Friends and Randy Price/Peter Morley also knew the song.

number on the line denotes the average number of points scored on that song
(total points divided by number of entrants, to 1 decimal place). For
comparison purposes, tie-breakers are scored here on the usual 20-point scale.
