RESULTS & ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #297 (GOLQ297)
Four teams tied for first this time, in order of receipt: The Coasters,
Mick Tursky, Mike Weaver and The GYPSY's CARAVAN. Five teams just missed
by a tie-breaker: The GenaTeam, Will McCorry, Delphi Trivia Club, Lehigh
Valley Trivia guys, and Vito & The Salutations. I thought I had picked
enough obscure songs that I made one of the tie-breakers a gift of sorts,
but most teams were up to the task.
Two songs were difference makers: #13 got regular airplay in the Boston
area, about the same time Love Is Blue was on the charts. Apparently,
that not was the case everywhere else. #T1 did its job as a tie-breaker.
The median score was 500, the mean 460. GOLQ298 will be posted shortly.
