RESULTS and ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #317 (GOLQ317)
Congratulations to six teams with perfect 500++ scores: EJ's & Co.;
The Village Idiots; Will McCorry; Delphi Trivia Club; Really Rockin'
In Boston; and, Mike Weaver. Virve Harkonen also identified all 25 songs
in the main part of the quiz. Several teams noted that the easily identifiable
theme of "Angels" helped them considerably; ten songs were identified by every
team. One team indicated that the theme made the quiz TOO easy. Well, hopefully
everyone enjoyed the quiz and it brought back some memories.
Thanks to all of the entering teams for participating. We missed seeing some
of you "regulars."

Comments from Tom: I was surprised that the relatively large Everly Brothers
hit, "Ebony Eyes," would be the least correctly identified song in the regular
part of the quiz; or that an Elvis song would be the least identified of all
27; while the more obscure #8, #12, #13, and #19 fared higher. Maybe I needed
to include more "Ebony Eyes" lyrics than just the short phrase I used.
