RESULTS and ANSWER KEY for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #334 (GOLQ334)

Congratulations to our THREE co-winners, each of whom had perfect scores:
Delphi Trivia Club, EJ'S & Co., and Mike Weaver. Kudos also to Will McCorry,
Really Rockin' In Boston, and The Coasters, who identified all 25 songs in
the main part of the quiz.

As most of the teams recognized, the two characteristics of the quiz were:

1) "and" or "&" in each song or title; #25 and #T2 were "twofers"
   (both title and artist)

2) in the main part of the quiz, an artist for each letter of the alphabet,
   except for the letter "x."

As always, thanks to everyone who entered! Mike Weaver has already posted
the Dec 2014 quiz (GOLQ #335).

                        -- Tom and Rick

(For anti-spamming purposes, all occurrences of "@" in e-mail addresses have
been replaced with "&".)

GOLDEN OLDIES LYRICS QUIZ #334 ANSWERS:
Answers are in the form:

#number) Artist: "Title" (chart year) [peak Pop] {peak R&B} <xxx>...<yyy>

where:
"peak Pop" = Peak position achieved on the weekly Billboard Pop chart.
"peak R&B" = Peak position on the weekly Billboard Rhythm & Blues chart.
(Billboard didn't publish an R&B chart between 11/30/63 and 1/23/65,
so recordings in that interval show peak R&B of {n/c} ("no chart").)
"xxx",...,"yyy" = prior GOLQ(s) in which the song appeared, if any.

Note: Title song from their second album. Howard noted that, in the quiz,
the second line should have read "...if things are GOING good" rather than
"...if things are LOOKING good," and "send" rather than "sent" in the third
line. Lyrics above contain the corrections, and archive will contain the
correction in the quiz.

Note: 45 release, along with flip side, "Devil Doll," which did not chart.
I (Tom) have both songs on Roy's "Rock House" album, which I bought in 1961.
