Subject: Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #2 The lyrics quiz activity seems to have died down a little, so I'm ready for round 2. Rules for Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz: (some of these rules have been plagiarized from David Griboff and Valentino Herrera) 1) The songs are listed by alphabetical order by artist; therefore, if a song has been done by more than one artist, the correct response will be the one that fits alphabetically. 2) Artists MAY be repeated from other people's quizzes and from one of my quizzes to another. I will not use an artist more than once in any given quiz. 3) Songs may be repeated from other people's quizzes, but the lyrics will be different (unless I err or overlap another quiz in time). 4) Songs will most likely be from the 50's and 60's only. 5) Songs are singles that hit the Top 100. 6) Each Title is worth 10 points; each Artist is worth 10 points. You should try to get as close as possible to the way it appears on the label; partial credit will be given for imperfect answers. A perfect score is 500 points. 7) Append your answers to the lines that begin "#dd)", where "dd" are two digits. You may delete the original lyrics or not; I will look for lines beginning with those 4 characters (possibly preceded by ">" and/or " "). 8) Please answer the questions at the end. Please mail your entries by Friday, October 12, 1990. Try to mail early since mail sometimes takes a while to get here.
