Hello from the rock and roll capital of Asia, Israel. And so long as we are the only team on the continent, it'll stay that way. We've cooked up a titillating selection of songs from 1958-69 and did not deliberately organize any sort of theme. However, we offer some clues to narrow your choices. The quiz begins relatively easy and gets tougher as it goes along. Three of the songs share a dubious distinction: three other songs (for which we've given only two lyrics lines each) contain solid hints to their titles. Since GOLQ146 saw five teams with 500 scores, we are rebelling and betting no one gets 500. However, follow our hints and there will be lots of contestants finishing in the 400s. Please e-mail answers by 5:00 PM EST Tuesday, November 2, 1999 to chamish@netvision.net.il and to yherczeg@netvision.net.il. All Team Asia members contributed to the quiz so we are opting out of the answers. That should up everybody's standings. If you are unfamilar with the rules, visit: ftp://bobcat.bbn.com/pub/golq/FAQ/rules And if you'd care to have contests and results sent right to your computer write: golq-request@world.std.com adding the word "subscribe" to the body of the message. We tried to create an entertaining quiz and hope we succeeded. If you don't think we did, please don't tell us. We're all very sensitive to criticism on Team Asia. Now go to it!!!!
