GOLDEN OLDIES LYRICS QUIZ #342 (GOLQ342)

Welcome to Golden Oldies Lyric Quiz #342 (GOLQ-342), which contains
A multitude of big hits as well as a few stumpers. Twenty-six of the
twenty-seven songs share a common attribute. The one song that does
not share the attribute gives a clue to the attribute. Recognizing
the attribute may help solve the stumpers. Have fun!

                       Golden Oldies Lyrics Quiz #342
               Recordings #01-25 were from 1958 through 1969
              Due 5:00 p.m. EDT (GMT-4), Friday, July 31, 2015
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Girl, I want to provide for you
And do all the things that you want me to
#01)

Though I know
You're the kind of boy
Who only wants to run around
I'll keep waiting
#02)

(Oh no) Don't you tell me
My baby's just a playboy
#03)

Well, I believed she really loved me
But now at last I see
I was the king of fools
#04)

One thing you'll know for sure
I won't be the one to fall in love with someone new
I'll love you 'til I die
#05)

Anytime my little world seems blue
I just have to look at you
#06)

You ain't reaching me no how, no way
No time 'til doomsday
I can't hear you no more
#07)

Now I'm no longer doubtful of what I'm living for
And if I make you happy, I don't need to do more
#08)

I asked to see her next week and she told me I could
#09)

I'll never forget you for what you've done
I'll never turn my back on you for anyone
#10)

I'm not supposed to be alone with you
#11)

A chug a chug a motion
Like a railroad train, now
#12)

You know that once upon a time
I didn't need you so
It would have been so easy then
For me to turn and go
#13)

Wanting to feel
To know what is real
Living is a, is a lie
#14)

I want to be your lover
But your friend is all I stay
#15)

He can stay away too long
And then come back like nothing's wrong
I'm a fool, and no one knows it better than the one I love
#16)

Don't miss a party, don't miss the dance
Go on a date if you get the chance
Give him your hand and I'll understand
That's how it should be
#17)

Only with every little step I make
Only with every little beat of my heart
And every single minute I'm awake
#18)

Now you know me
You know how proud I am
What I'm gonna tell you now
Won't be easy to say
#19)

That old pot of gold ain't so easy to find
But if you'll stand by me, girl, I'll keep peace of mind
I can't give you the world, but I'll work hard for you, girl
#20)

There was a night when
You held me tight and
You said you'd always love me
You said you'd never hurt me
#21)

I tell you no lie
Something deep inside of me's going to die (bye, bye, baby)
If you say so long (bye, bye, baby)
If this is goodbye (bye, bye, baby)
#22)

I am but a fool
Darling, I love you
Though you treat me cruel
#23)

Tonight the light of love is in your eyes
#24)

And if you should discover
That you don't really love her
Just send my baby back home to me
#25)

------------
Tie-Breakers
------------

I love you when you're happy
I love you when you're blue
I love you when you're mad at me
So how can I get tired of you
#T1)

We met one night
It was love at first sight
Then you asked me to dance
I knew at the start
You'd stolen my heart
The beginning of romance
#T2)
